I am trying to get a better understanding of how the autonav block works and would like to know where the two default classes: nav-selected and nav-path-selected generated in view.php are defined as I cannot see them in any of the style sheets linked into the HTML. Are they intended to be added by myself as with the other classes commented out in the code of view.php?
yes those classes are there for you to use in your styling.
Also you can use a template for your autonav and in the template use other class names instead of those two.
