I'd like to add 2 tables with preset rows. Need to be able to select a row from each to be displayed. So basically use a y/n field for selected. Filter on that. How do I make the display to pull from both tables and make the selection?

The bigger picture is to make a table that holds presets about Road Conditions and another to hold work reporting status(like closed, delayed, etc). Then a person could go in to a 'management page' with the block to select the items to display on the front page.

Think in terms of a school in a snowy area wanting to tell the community that the school is closed/delayed and/or to tell driving students a level of caution(like green/yellow/red).

I have the basic idea on paper. But this is a bit new to me.
