Can anyone help make a proper block?

I made a custom attribute search block overriding the C5' 'search' block and some library files. I want to submit it to the Marketplace as a free add-on.

Could anyone please help me make a proper installable block/package/add-on out of it? Or I just zip it and upload it with some instructions what to do next?

Thanks.

Submissions to the marketplace must be in package format. For instructions on doing that, check outhttp://www.concrete5.org/help/building_with_concrete5/developers/pa...

Also, try downloading one of the free blocks and look at the source on that for an example.

OK. Can anyone build a package if I send you all sources?

Sorry, don't have time at the moment to learn how to create packages (yeah, lame excuse but already spent 3 weeks creating my supposedly straightforward custom block).

Could the Mods make an editable HowTo section where people can post their own HowTos, tutorials, files etc.? Maybe as a HowTo section in the forum? Where only solutions will be posted, not questions. At the moment it's very hard to find a specific solution to a problem not covered by documentation as they all only appear in forum threads or Documentation comments.

sure... send what you have via PM and I'll package it for you... I'll need a 97px x 97px icon for the package or I'll put something together for you...
