Cu3er - 3D Flash image slider
Permalink 1 user found helpful
Just wondering if anyone has worked with Cu3er for C5,
for those of you who don't who what it is,
http://www.progressivered.com/cu3er/...
and a nice c&p later:
CU3ER, an image slider initially conceived to create 3D transitions between slides, turned out to be a convenient and multifunction solution that can be applied in a range of website building areas, from content slider to feature slider and image & banner rotator. Consider using it when you want to grab the user’s attention, and you’ll be delighted by the results!

Hi Mike did anyone come back to you on the CU3ER block
nope not yet
I tried to load CU3er in a flash block, it worked when I edited exit mode, but only one time. If I go to another page and come back to it, it doesn't work. It's a very cool app. If any one figures out please post!
Thanks
Thanks
I just added it in my template home page code without bringing it in to C5 not ideal but it works for the purpose it's working herehttp://www.gloopcreative.co.uk/index.php...
I got it working with the Iframe block too. Put cu3 folder in the root of the site, pointed the Iframe at the default.htm file
Hi guys,
I looked into creating a cu3er block, but it currently isn't possible to license it for use in a commercial add-on for Concrete. The website says that they will have licensing finalized once version 1 officially launches.
In the meantime, it may be easier to manage cu3er using the Flash Embed add-on. You can upload cu3er and your XML file to your site, embed the SWF and point it to the location of your XML file on your server. For any further edits, you can go to the File Manager, click on the XML file and edit it online, making it simple to point to other images or pages within your Concrete site.
I have plans to make this type of integration even easier, so stay tuned. In the meantime, you may consider this as an improvement over iframes :)
