Email Blocks

Are there any email collection blocks that work with concrete5 5.7? Opt in won't support it and I can't find anything else.

Hi cindilight,

Please include specific details of what you are trying to accomplish and features you would need.

I want to add a popup to collect email addresses. I downloaded Opt-in, but it doesn't work with v5.7. They said Concrete5 keeps making updates and it's not worth their time to keep fixing it. The only other one I found for concrete5 doesn't work with 5.7 either.

You could simply use the built in Form block as a subscribe form.

Set one of those up with a name and email form and you can collect those details - submissions are stored and can be exported as a CSV from the dashboard. That CSV is then suitable for importing into any common emailing system.

More often though we're asked to integrate something like Mailchimp, such systems will offer a snippet of code to embed a sign-up form - then you just use an HTML block to place that code, making a specific block unnecessary.

Thank you, I did set up a form for the time being. But I really wanted to make it a popup.

One of my clients is wanting the same 'pop up opt in' for subscribing to their newsletter. The one that is in the market as mentioned above doesn't work with the latest versions of C5. It is just what I was wanting. Anyone know of something similar?
