I definitely use sliders on my front page for feature articles, and in key spots of my site.

I'd definitely be interested in your slider!

Also, have you seen Nivo Slider? I really like it, and would like to see it offered in Concrete5:

Agreed. While the content of your link is enticing, quite a few people here read the forums from work computers, it's proper etiquette to include a Not Safe For Work tag if you're going to be sending us to nudity.
