Has anyone ever planned to develop a geo mashup kind of package, that could be used for a Travel blog for multiple authors writing their own blog page or post and each of these posts could attribute a location and map to a post or page.

I would have loved to use concrete5's blog instead of wordpress.

I am aware of the few Google maps packages that are available in the marketplace, so I would be delighted, if these could be used in a low-tech manner to achieve the functionality I mentioned.
