Once you add your image to the My_Site_Name editor, remember to Clear your cache on your sites Dashboard-Sitewide Settings and refresh your browser

If erased, you must add/create a content block in your Global scrapbook and name it "My_Site_Name".
You can add the content block with your image in it and rename it to "My_Site_Name" as the easiest way to achieve this. Without this being there, I believe the site name is defaulting to text only

I'd be happy to help. Please give a little more information if you could: What theme are you using for your site and, if possible, what is your site's URL so we can view it for problems.
Also, when changing in the scrapbook; Did you only edit the content of the My_Site_Name block or did you possibly rename it?
In addition: The sitename as viewed in the browser tab can be changed from an entry on the top of the Dashboard's Sitewide Setting page.

No problem then. When erased or missing, the following steps will help you out:
If Global Scrapbook is missing... using the "add a global scrapbook" area... 1) type in "Global Scrapbook" (without the quotation marks).
Then 2) Open the "Global Scrapbook" you just created and at the top, you see a button that says "Add Block to Scrapbook"... select this button and 3) select "Content" and put your image/logo in the editor and save. Then 4) select "rename" from the list of options shown to the right of your newly created block. 5) rename your block "My_Site_Name" (without the quotation marks) and save.
Refresh/clear your cache and check your site to see if it updated.

Very frustrating I'm sure! Externally, your site appears to be able to display the logo. I may not be explaining the fix clearly. If you would like, set up a user account with admin access and PM me to my account on this site. I'd be happy to look at it briefly and fix if I can (then you can delete the user account tonight to keep your site secure).
