Would anyone be interested in making a Image swap block?
It would have a pull down menu and when you choose a item it would change the image.

I'd actually copy a gallery block, which lets you add multiple images on the fly from the File Manager and a description. Then you would alter your view.php to output the image and create a drop down from the descriptions.
I've got this working now. If anyone is interested in using it. I'm attaching it to this forum post.

I came across this thread because I'm looking to do something similar only instead of a drop down menu, I just want a list of links. Kind of like the list to the right of your sample athttp://www.bushong.net/dawn/widgets/menuswap/... (only I would want mine on the left. Anyway to make your custom template do a list instead of a drop down menu?
