Think auto nav, but MEGA. :-) Seriously though, it would allow you to add "mega menu" styled navigation layouts to your site. You could "design" the various layouts in the dashboard, then add them via blocks.

I attached some images showing some of the common uses/layouts.

really like the 2nd demo ... think that function wise is more akin to how the majority of ecom users are seeing that functionality at the moment.

If anyone wants a fully functional mega menu, the wait is over. No beta testing, a fully functional add-on:

It's flexible, elegant and well supported. Check out the videos at the above link. Pretty neat.
