Hi we have a members area where users have to sign in to access, I would like to add the ability for members to upload photos for use in galleries. Would anyone know of an add on or a way to do this please?

For both an easier interface and more control over where files are uploaded, see my Snapshot addon.You can have a play with it athttps://c5magic.co.uk/addons/snapshot.... You will still need to configure some file manager permissions, but you won't need to grant any dashboard permissions.
For a user filled gallery, I would configure Snapshot to upload to a subfolder or fileset named after the user, then use a gallery addon that shows that fileset or folder. There are many such in the marketplace including my Omni Galleryhttps://c5magic.co.uk/addons/omni-gallery....
