Project block

I need to make a a project block where the client can add an image and small description that then leads to the full page. It would be something similar to the following link:

http://www.cornwallculture.co.uk/feast/index.php?q=projects...

Has anyone created something similar to this? Or would someone be willing to build it for me (if so how much and timeframes)? Or is their a work around within the current marketplace?

Hopefully this makes sense, It just needs to be simple to use for the client really.

Any questions please email me.

it's not a project block but what I described here is pretty much the same and isn't difficult to modify

Thanks Remo, I have someone looking into building the block which will hopefully be available in the marketplace in a few weeks.

This is a really handy block though, you should get it into the marketplace!

Thanks for taking the time to post.

Not sure why you need a custom block for this.

Looks like a job for page attributes (thumbnail) on the destination pages and an auto-nav or page-list block with a custom template on the contents page.

I agree.
You need to set up a page attribute for an thumbnail image.

Then create a custom template to display it appropriately.

Here's an example of something similar.

The rotating news stories are pulling the images from a page attribute. They are being displayed with a page list block and crazy-custom template.
