Service Ticket Block
Permalink
Hello all. I would like to see some sort of service ticket block. I'm trying to get more users to not only use the website but to use it to submit IT service tickets to alleviate the phone calls and emails. Does anyone know of block out there I could maybe use/redesign to accomplish this?
Thanks.
Thanks.
Unless you need a full-blown help desk app, your could just create a simple form with the necessary information and have it emailed to your IT staff :)
Thank you nteaviation. I thought about doing that but I would like to have some kind of queue to track the status.
Our PM solution will have that feature:

Altough a nice ticketing system can be done as a seperate c5 package also. I'll see what I can do after my exams.. writing the 7th this week..7to come..
That's easy as long as you don't need svn/git hooks and realtime monitoring or an iphone/android/blackberry app.. or whatever one can imagine..

Thanks Fernandos. Basically I want our IT people to be able to login view a "ticket" and make changes such as working on, closed, etc...I would like them to be able to login from their BB's to the website to make these changes so it wouldn't necessarily have to be an app but just able to edit from a mobile device.
i might give this a whirl,
I'd like to recommend you Teambox for this kind of job.http://teambox.com/
I'm sure it will optimize the workflow, because it's easy to use.

Note: It's using Ruby!

Hi, Fernandos-
Where are you on the PM solution?
Just curious... haven't heard anything in a long time!
