Which web host company?
Have you had the same web host for several years, and are still happy?

I'm also with HostGator and very happy after about 4 years. Previously I had hosting from Voxtreme, GoDaddy, One&One, GreenGeeks. Out of those Voxtreme and One&One were okay. GoDaddy and GreenGeeks were both terrible. GoDaddy has awful support, and the slowest servers, and the slowest control panels, and their control panel just doesn't compare to a nice cPanel. GreenGeeks were just slow and had constant maintenance issues and downtime, and their support was mediocre at best.
HostGator has phenomenal support. I've launched chats with them several times, they are really helpful. Helped me setup wildcard subdomains, helped me use the cPanel API. I have their reseller package. And if you have their reseller package and their affiliate program, you can make a good income from selling hosting and/or referring other people. I haven't tried their affiliate yet but I've been planning on it. And like lackadaize even if I was affiliate for another host I'd still host my own sites at HostGator.

If you start up an affiliate program I recommend staying on top of their commissions. The one knock I have on the affiliate program is that you might have to haggle occasionally to make sure your referrals are recognized and credited to your account.
With this in mind I suggest encouraging referrals to use coupon codes as opposed to having them click through your affiliate link, as one is much more verifiable than the other.

I am very thankful for each one of you, to take time out of your busy day to comment about the best web hosting companies. I web hosting company is very important for web designers.
I was happy at HostGator for many months, and then my database disappeared, and other troublesome things happened. It suddenly went from perfect to being constant trouble.
I was at Siteground for over 2 years, and had a GREAT time. I never never had any problem whatsoever. It was fabulous! Then a few weeks ago, I got a message saying they were going to move my account to another server. Immediately after my account was at the other server, I have had constant problems, and may need to delete and rebuild from scratch two of my websites.

I have been using Inmotion Hosting (business class) for several years, and their VPS service is also very good.
I also use host gator, which has proven to be satisfactory.
And, I hear "Bluehost" is pretty good for Concrete as well.

I also have heard good things about inmotion but I have no experience with them. I know several developers that use them and are very happy with the results.
I recently moved my business website to Canadian Web Hosting. They have good support and pricing. I am definitely satisfied with them.
I moved my first website client to them last month.
If I didn't have a Canadian hosting requirement for my customers, I would go with Hostgator. I routinely hear great reviews on them and find the support documentation very well written.

HostGator is my favorite because their tech support is amazing compared to any other host I've used. They also offer a very attractive price. I even do all my reseller hosting with them. Also, if you wanna save 25% off put use this promo code = thinkNomadic25 .
In the interest of full disclosure, that coupon is part of an affiliate program but I could sign up as an affiliate anywhere and I stand strongly behind my belief that hostgator is the way to go. Good luck!
