3D printers for home use

$1600.00 seems worth it, if you work in signage or just want the coolest new tech. I would for sure ask how much the "ink refills" cost, but if someone was looking for the next big boom market for personal computers I have a feeling this would be it.

There's better versions just not this affordable.

You could save half your hard earned money with a RepRap.

and it's Open Source.

Thats way better, and open source. Thanks for linking this, I instantly bookmarked, and I am for sure getting this asap. Print one for a friend, how could you go wrong ? The older versions can print the new versions as they come out, wow.

I need one of these. I have a minor obsession with 3D printers. Thanks for the link.

This thing is really impressive, especially the fact that the next version will be able to embed electric conductors taking 3d printing to a new level. I already have a line on where to get the parts, and have a local rep rap club to help see it through. When I am done, I will let you know. (The parts for the heavy duty one are coming up to just $400 Cdn or $475 for double pulley high speed printing)
