Bed and breakfasts, motels, hotels etc - keen to see what others have done as I'm snooping for ideas for a project.
I've done a really simple one for a B&B. No different than any other site really, except I used PHP-Residence as well for online booking. The 'integration' of PHP-Residence wasn't all that complicated, I load the public facing pages in an iframe.
I'm sure there's better solutions, but this was a port to C5 from an old Wordpress site with no decent budget to speak of.

i´ve already made some hotel websites 2 of them in Concrete5 (hoteltopas.de and its partnerhotel hotelcristall.de -see showcase)
one Important thing is photos...photos...photos in the Site and not that much text -reservation must be simple and quick to find and use!-
Than it depends if the Hotel is working already with a reservation system (ihotelier for example) or if they want their own(!!!)
make also sure which frontdesk software (microsfidelio is very common)they are using and if it has a software interface to connect form submissions (if not don´t try to write your own!!! it´s a waste of time)just make your client clear he has no other option than doing it by hand!
