Add a Page

ZHello! I am brand new to Concrete - I have been working my way through the videos to help me develop my new site. I have a template I purchased through Concrete and I have been working with the homepage. Now I need to move on and I click EDIT and there is no "add a page" or "add a sub page" link.
I am attaching a screen shot of what I see.
What am I doing wrong??

When you edit a page, that link will not appear. After you hit "Publish this page" or "Discard changes", the page will reload and the "add a sub-page" link will appear again.
