Add on and Theme Licencing

Guys,

While I am very happy to pay the licence fee to the boys who have done the work I have a question? What if I download and install a theme/addon from inside a site and then the customer doesn't want it (theme usually I guess)

Can I transfer the theme to another site? How do I do this? Am I breaking any rules?

Or should I buy themes/addons independantly of sites and then move them around to where I want?

How does this work please?

Ian

Ian,

You can go to your project page for your site and release any addon from that project. It then becomes available to be used on another project.

Do you mean the Add Functionality/Installed & Available tab, ie edit and move to be ready to download? See screenshot?

No. He means the project page here at concrete5.org, assuming you've automatically installed the thing.

Yes, the idea is one license per active site. If the site no longer exists or the add-on has been removed for some other reason it is legally fine to reuse that license on another site.

It is not alright to buy a bunch of stuff and then ask for refunds on what you decide later you don't want. (see refund policy here:)

Not that you're asking that, but just for the benefit of anyone else who is reading this thread.
