Adding an external link to the navigation bar

Hi,
I am trying to add an external link to our Navigation Bar but receive an error message stating 'This form not secure. Autofill has been turned off.'
To add an external link to the nav bar in the past, I follow the below steps and have been successful.
Dashboard > Full Sitemap > click ‘menu heading’ > Add External Link > Fill form and check ‘Open Link in New Window’ > click ‘Add’.
If I fill the form and submit regardless, it just goes through to homepage with no change to the navigation bar.
Any help would be greatly appreciated and apologies if this has been posted in the wrong forum, thank you.

Do you have a page attribute in place that is controlling which pages are added to the navigation block perhaps?
Are there any JS errors in the console when you are in the Dashboard sitemap?
Do you have any other external links on this specific site. If so, can you 'copy' them by e.g. dragging/dropping in the sitemap?
