Announcement Area

Hi all,

I want to have an announcement area on all of my pages so that when I update it, I just need to update it once and it will update all pages (I dont have to go to each page to update that announcement area). Is C5 able to do something like that?

Yes, this sounds like a perfect use of the built-in "scrapbook" functionality.

I'd do this. Go into Dashboard > Scrapbooks, and add a new block to the global scrapbook. Then, add it throughout your site to different pages. Then all you have to do is change it in the global scrapbook and the change will automatically show up everywhere.
