Any recourse for poor customer support?

I recently purchased an addon from a member of the c5 community and submitted a support issue. It has been over a week and the developer hasn't even replied once.

Also, do buyers have any protection from this sort of thing happening in the future?

Yes, you can contact the Concrete5 core team and request a refund. Add-on authors sign an agreement that they must provide timely support if they are to charge for their work.

Try contacting Concrete5 here:
https://www.concrete5.org/help/contact_us...

or here:

If that fails, PM me and I will try to escalate this issue for you.

Ok thank you very much Lucas.

I will give the developer at least a few more days before requesting the refund and going with an alternative solution.

you might want to try sending a reminder PM too. it's easy to loose track of emails when you've got a big pile to work through.
