Are there any planned major changes to the architecture of concrete5

Hi,
Are there any planned major changes to the architecture of concrete5?
I'm asking this because I need to know if there will be any upgrade nightmares that may be affected by any planned major overhaul of concrete5's structure, or core designs in the near or far future?
Any changes to the way custom themes are integrated into concrete5?
Planning to offer this to my customers as the main CMS of choice for them, the answer to this is quite important.

i would probbably wait for the new 5.4 version which will be aout in a few weeks
i don't know if i'd consider what's coming in 5.4 "major" architectural changes. i'm not sure if the upgrade process is even written yet, but regardless it should be a smoother upgrade than when the new attribute system was rolled out. there is a lot of new stuff in there for sure, but i haven't seen any huge changes with the database schema, and most of the changes *should* be handled with the upgrade (i'm not sure how that's coming along though). but if possible waiting a couple of weeks might not be a bad idea either.
Tony's right 5.4 is awesome, but it's not gutting architecture even the way that custom attributes did with the last release...
There isn't an upgrade script yet, but it should be reasonably doable...
