Audio Player for Entire Site

Is there an audio player available (for free or to purchase) that is not block based? I'd like to have an audio player embedded into my main nav that is constant throughout the site. Right now when I use a audio player block, the music is great until you navigate away from that page.

Does something like this exist for Concrete5?

there's nothing about the block structure that is keeping you from doing that. The reality is the only way to get audio playing without restarting it on every page would be to stick it in a frame, which would just be horrible for SEO, linking, and your site as a whole.


its also got to be one of the most annoying things that people do to websites.. (imho)

I'm not the biggest fan of audio players either, but my site is a Photography website and when you have the right music it really does add to the mood of the images displayed.

I'm not a pro, so I wouldn't know about frames and how to do that. Would adding a frame kill SEO for the whole site?

another option instead of using iframes is to use something like this to load other page content through ajax:

thanks Tony. I don't know that I have what it takes to get something like this live on my site. I think I'd need to know a little more about CSS.
