Autonav problem

Hi,
I am using the autonav for navigation, which is working fine, but I have a page that is excluded from the nav but the pages underneath it showup as children of a different "non-excluded" page. Any idea why this would happen?

Anyone figure this out? I too see children of excluded pages being added to the next page in the list. Excluding the children is not an option because they are used for auto-navs elsewhere in the site.

The best solution that I've found it to put the pages deep within folders then create aliases to them, but this seems clunky and will likely confuse some of my users.

The attached file illustrates my work-around.

This is a problem for me too - any ideas develop within the last 6 months to solve this?

For this auto-nav instance, you need to change a setting in the setup screen. Under 'Sub Pages to Display', select 'Relevant sub pages.'

This should clear your problem up.

This only works if you aren't using flyout or dropdown menus right? Otherwise, the dropdown would only appear for the active parent.

In my tests, this works for drop down menus as well. Basically, this option for me says "If the parent page is set to hide on nav, then the pages below should as well."

If you can't get it to work, a link or screenshots of your block setup screen, sitemap and actual problem would help us troubleshoot.
