Blocks not displaying fully from drop down title to logged in users

We have site built in C5 and being user by our client. Certain blocks of content have been added and permissions set on these to only show to certain users. However, when the user logs in the blocks which are visible when a drop downs is clicked only show the top 5mm, but when another page is visited and then the user goes back to the same block and clicks the drop down, the whole block is shown as it should be?
