multiple blog posts on one page

Hi,
I've installed the latest version of C5 but I can't work out how to display more than 1 blog post on one page instead of on individual pages with a 'blog/page list' page sitting 'over' them all. All I want to do is have 1 blog page showing about 10 blog posts in a list and then links onto older posts that links to another page with another 10 or so posts on it.
Anyone, is this possible????
Kind regards,
Bek

Look up page lists or blog lists. What you're seeing is a list of blogs and a summary.

hi John,
Yes, I know the page list is a summary, but what I want is to be able to list more than one whole blog post on one page, not a list of summaries of blog posts. An example would be as seen here:

Is this possible with C5?

I'm not aware of anything that does this in concrete5 today. That said I could envision creating a block or page type/template that does this from a package.
Hi, thanks for your reply. what do you mean by "I could envision creating a block or page type/template that does this from a package".
Does this mean it would be do-able without too much hassle, or would it be a PHP nightmare (I'm not an expert PHP programmer).
Could you do what I want to do in the old version of C5? I avoided using this version, despite being much more expert in it as I wanted to use the most up to date version, but if I can do it in the old version, I'd be happy to use that instead (or just use Squarespace, which I don't really want to).
Kind regards,
Bek

Should be possible, but yes, this involves php.
For 5.6 there's an add-on 'Page List Teaser', it does something like this. It pull's all the blocks in the 'Main Content' Area from the pages you list.
I'm not a programmer also, but maybe one of the awesome developers here can make an add-on like the Page List Teaser again? This would be a nice feature for a lot of projects.

Hi,
Thanks for that suggestion. I think I'll revert back to the older version of C5 and use this page list teaser you mentioned. It's a shame because I really wanted to give the latest version a go....

Bek

5.7 is much more powerfull, but there are not so many add-ons yet. They will come for sure!
For now, yeah maybe better to use 5.6 for that blog-site.

Just installed older version with Page List teasers as you suggested. What can I say....you are great, thank you very much this is exactly what I wanted.
All I have to do now is customise the site & integrate it into my existing site :)
Kind regards,
Bek
