The Blog Module and News Module add-ons allow you to automatically set up a blog or news section on a website. The installation guides you in which blocks need to be installed on the page types and in which areas the blocks can be put.

Both add-ons are nice solutions for users who are tired of adding and configuring page types, page type defaults, blocks, attributes, etc.!

Another advantage is that they only use concrete5 components. Nothing custom. It's just a more streamlined and faster way of setting up blog pages and news articles.
