you could use either the slideshow or the billboards block (http://www.concrete5.org/marketplace/addons/billboards/... ), and just turn off the animation/autoplay.

Hi, I've had the same question and I've found this converter, seems to work fine.
It creates a flip over page from a PDF:
http://www.codebox.es/pdf-to-flash-page-flip...
It delivers the index page and a some files, I suggest you create a PDF directory (for each one, like pdf/file01) with these files on your server, and link to it.
