Browser Support in 5.7

Redactor's website says it supports IE8+.
What are you target browsers for c5 5.7? I don't support before IE8, so it doesn't affect me, but I know many other still supporting IE7, and was just curious.
I, for one, am for dropping support for IE7 (and even IE8). (I saw this not knowing the current browsers... couldn't find it in a quick Google search).
Obviously there are arguments both ways... you might have to maintain a legacy version to support enterprise level clients on older systems. But a great portion of people (I would think the majority) would benefit from getting rid of support for older browsers. This would just affect users that have access to edit and stuff, of course, not the typical visitor.
I just watched the clip from the Totally Random where you talked about switching to Redactor and that got me thinking about all the possibilities we could embrace with dropping old browser support.
I've been working on an iPad PhoneGap app, and it's been incredible using all sorts of cutting edge techniques and APIs... it sucks when I have to go back to a site that has to support IE8 again!
