Bulk Upload of images

Is it possible to install images directly into the concrete file manager on my local machine using the finder instead of the upload interface?

That incoming directory works if there are a couple of files, but it seems to be buggy when there are dozens of files... and even if I check the box to delete imported files, c5 doesn't delete them, resulting in duplicate files to remove manually when import fails halfway and manually repeated... Can something be done about taht?

I think if the permissions are set correctly it deleted the files. The issue I've found and am able to recreate is that when the ajax call times out it stops adding files. So adding a few hundred images is still a pain.
