Guys, As a newb I cant see a place to post C5 faults so here will have to do. I have loaded C5 onto a local server.
Going through to the C5 site to get more themes I go through to the themes page. When I click next to see the next page of themes the page number chagnes but the themes shown do not!!!
Somebody may like to fix this!

To be clear, are you talking about the concrete5.org site or while browsing themes from your local install Dashboard?
Yes, Lucas has a good point. If you are talking about your local install of C5 you need to connect to the marketplace first before you can browse themes and add-ons.
I go to Dashboard anc click on Pages and Themes and Click on Download More themes from the C5 Mrketplace which takes me to :http://localhost/index.php/dashboard/install/browse/themes/...
This seem to be on the C5 site as its not on my test site!

Odd one that! The page you're looking at actually is on your local test site (hence thehttp://localhost/), it's just the content that's being pulled in from C5. However, I have just tested it on my site and everything works just fine...
Just wondering if this is some kind of browser issue? Which browser are you using??
Jon
(Although - worth noting - I have never gotten the preview feature to work - modal opens up, but it always tells me the theme is not available for preview...)

I'm using Firefox. I just re tried accesing the themes I can see and I get this message:
"curl must be enabled to preview external themes."
Mmmmmm!

you don't have curl installed, which is installed by default on most php installs
I have installed the XAMPP bundle. Do you know where/how I can get CURL please?
A quick google search yielded some results:

Thank you! Sorry I should have looked myself.
yeah we've heard of this before but never been able to recreate it consistently. what I don't get is how the first page of themes could load anything if curl wasn't installed.
I'd love to know what the result of this one is.
