I have a client who already has a site with the Discussion forum & the calendar modules built in and members of the site use the forums for chit chatting etc. and she updates the the calendar with events as they come up.

She has decided that she wants to change the direction of the business slightly and now she wants to allow users to be able to create events to the calendar.

First off is this achievable and secondly how would I do it.
