I am running 5.3.3. I have asked my users to join the site and now would like to add editing permissions for some. I click on their username and then Edit User and Add Group and I choose the group for them to be a member of. I see the new group listed with a checkbox but when I click Update User the group disappears.

Any idea what is happening? Is a permissions issue from the 5.3.3 update? Never changed permissions before the 5.3.3 update so I don't know if it was working pre-5.3.3.
