cannot UPLOAD files into File Manager

Hi! I greatly enjoy using Concrete5, and think it is FANTASTIC!
The UPLOAD button in File Manager is not working for me this afternoon. I have tried everything. I changed from Mozilla to Chrome browser. I cleared the cache. I changed the size & format of the photo repeatedly. I logged in and out of the website.
Any suggestions?

I am still not able upload an image, since the UPLOAD button in File Manager is defective. When I choose a file and click UPLOAD, the "UPLOAD MULTIPLE" button flashes continually, and nothing else happens. The file does upload properly. Because of this, I have not been able to effectively edit webpages in Concrete5 for more than a month. I have spent many hours and days on this situation.
Weird, can you open your firebug and see if there are any JavaScript errors or http errors?
