Hi Mike
Thank you for your reply.
When we log in to dashboard "news" pop up screen comes on with news from marketplace and concrete 5 team. Same page has following:
Welcome Back
CONCRETE5 UPDATE The latest version of concrete5 is 5.5.2.1. You are currently running concrete5 version 5.5.1. Learn more and update.
ADD-ON UPDATES There is currently 1 update available. Update add-ons.

So when I click Learn more and update that is where I get broken link?

Could you first try clearing and disabling your site cache?
After that, if you indeed are attempting to update you site, I would go to "System & Settings" -> "Backup & Restore" -> "Update concrete5" and see if that works for you.
Best Wishes,
Mike

What version of concrete5 are you running? When you say you "clicked the link to update c5" where was that link? I'm guessing maybe you clicked a link from concrete5.4 in the news section about an update. Does that sound right?
Best Wishes,
Mike
