Change Discount from text entry to tick box or radio button in ecommerce

I want to use the standard commerce add-on for a site and the site owner wants to give his customers the option to pay for his services in full or to pay a deposit.
Rather than have a coupon code box show up I want to know is it possible to set the discount code up as 1 and change the entry type from text box to tick box, so that if it's selected it changes to 1 and applies the discount.
