Commercial C5 Themes - How much success have you seen?
My impression is that the marketplace for add-ons has pretty much exploded for C5, which is fantastic. Yet it seems that the theme selection is somewhat lacking. For commercial theme developers, including on this site, this could be a great opportunity. But as someone who's been gradually edging into those waters, I'd be interested to hear from the developers who have made commercial themes how much success you've had with it.
Similarly, for the C5 Team, how much traffic have you seen in the theme downloads area, for example?
I have no doubt that C5 will grow exponentially. So I think the answer is that it's really just a matter of time before the theme area sees a similar growth as the add-ons, and you see sites similar to what Rockettheme does for Joomla crop up (it's already happening). So for me, there's no question that there's a hole—I guess it's how big is the hole at the moment, and how much success have theme developers had in trying to fill it so far?

I proposed the exact same question to some of the individuals that I saw were producing themes - I am also very interested in contributing to the c5 community by way of themes and would love to know the results others are seeing.
Well we're making a move on this.
Wrapping up our app...
You'll have to wait a bit longer... Sadly....

all of the themes sell.
all of the add-ons sell.
Even the add-ons with competition sell.
Even our $255 Dealer locator which competes directly with a $55 store locator sells.
Making quality themes and selling them in our marketplace would be a smart move if you have the time.
I believe ThemeGuru is talking about building his own theme site for concrete5, which is fine with me, but frankly I'd much prefer the effort go into adding 200 great themes to our marketplace instead of rebuilding the delivery mechanism.
