Community username and password??

I am sure several have responded to this situation before. I have taken over the duties to update webpages for an organization. I was given a username and password to the webpages but I eventually wanted to get some add-ons, etc. Nobody knows the username OR password used for the concrete5 account even the individual who set up the initial account. I have spent quite a bit of time trying to fix this problem, have read through several forum situations that I thought could "solve" my problem, and watched a few videos to fix the problem...none have worked. I am not a web developer and would appreciate any help I could get. Thanks

You can recover the admin password using
http://www.concrete5.org/documentation/how-tos/developers/recoverin...

The connect to the community info is stored in the database Config table. You can inspect that using phpMyAdmin. However, I am not sure anything is stored in a way that is retrievable.

I am in a similar situation to Carl and unfortunately I think John mis-understood.

We need to know how to get a project removed from a concrete5 marketplace account but we do not know the username. The email address used is no longer valid and so the forgotten password / username link is of no help.

We can prove ownership of the site as we have the access to the C4 Admin area, FTP and Database.

We need a way to gain control of the original Marketplace account with this project to unassign(?) add-ons, among other things.

Any help greatly appreciated.

Yes, looks like i misunderstood the original question.

Concrete5.org is a concrete5 site, with, afaik, similar user management capabilities to any other c5 site.

With that in mind, if you know the old username and old email address, then a site admin could, with time, search out your account from amongst several hundred thousand, double check it is the right account, and edit the info to new values through the dashboard.

However, it may not be that simple, there could be complications I am not aware of. I am not an administrator of c5.org.

You will need to PM Franz and ask him if he (or one of the core team) can do this for you.
