Constructive feed back requested

I hope this is the right spot for this but I could really use some constructive feed back on my site, I try to get people I know to check it out but they don"t appear to have the time, so I'm reaching out to the people that know, so, like i said I'm looking for constructive feed back I appreciate any and all input,

FYI, Concrete 5 has made building this site so incredibly easy, all I can say is WOW, you guys do great work, thank you for C5, its a fantastic product and I will be recommending it to anyone asking for a CMS that's friendly for any user.

That's great to hear concrete5 has let you build all this yourself, congrats!

In terms of feedback, I think you could get a good bang for your buck by hiring someone to design you a stronger header space. That white area where you have your site name, if that was a logo with some photography or illustration in the background it'd ratchet up the whole site experience pretty dramatically.

There's a lot of ways you could get some help with that, you'll likely need someone from our community who can get into your theme and tweak the HTML for that part of the page. You'll also need a designer to make you something you like. If you're on a tight budget sites likehttp://99designs.com can be pretty helpful for this type of thing.

Thanks for the input,
You are correct the white area at the top does need something, its a bit naked, however the budget ,at the moment, is non-existent. I have made my self note with your 99design suggestion and will check them out when funds allow it.
