Content duplication with Concrete to Wordpress plugin

Hi there

I am just using the Concrete to Wordpress plugin. I have Wordpress installed in a separate directory on the server (www.myurl.com/blog) and I am then using the Concrete to Wordpress plugin to pull the entries into the page. (www.myurl.com/news)

My concern is about content duplication, which isn't good for SEO. Is there anyway to prevent this. Obviously the blog is available in Wordpress form on thehttp://www.myurl.com/blog as well as thehttp://www.myurl.com/news.

And say I had my blog hosted on another server and URL, surely this would be an even bigger problem as the plugin is simply scraping the content from that site and duplicating it. So potentially, Google could be indexing 2 urls but with exactly the same content and therefore could disregard one or worse, disregards both. Please can anyone help?

Many thanks in advance.

Kind regards

Clojo

You could add the blog url to the robots.txt to disallow google access, or set up Canonical urls on either the wordpress/c5 page.
