Conversation Block not posting attachments

Hi all. I am using 8.5.2
In "Conversations" one of my users tried to upload an image file but it never appeared in her post. I had no answer for her because the settings are set to allow that. By chance, I found it in the "Waiting for Me" part of my Admin Dashboard, with not way to "approve it". (My permissions settings for conversation allow users to to add attachments. As far as "Approve Message" it is set to Amins only.
Any thoughts as to what is going on?? Might this have anything to do with my Database Log Query also never producing a report- I just get bank screen?
