Crossword Puzzles?

Hi,
I'm currently working on a site for a Magazine. The magazine has a crossword puzzle. Is there any easy way to create or implement a crossword puzzle on the site? Any suggestion is welcome.
The crossword puzzle has to be interactive, so visitors can solve the crossword puzzle online and send in the solution to win a prize.
I've searched the net, but didn't find a quick solution.

I one used a software (for Mac OSX) which created a flash-based crossword puzzle. But as said.. it was flash. I'd very happy switch to another solution :)

Yes, that's been it. Delivers the crossword as a PDF as well as a Flash fileset.
But you could still use it to "arrange" the crossword itself at it helps with that.
