Custom Attribute Types

I'm trying to follow this " How-To" and when I get to "If we hop on over to the default attribute type controller, we will see the saveForm method there" I've been looking for two days and have not found "the default attribute type controller " that he is talking about..
Can somebody tell me what controller ( and where it is ) he is talking about. Please..

That how to was written in 2011 and would have been based on the then current concrete version of 5.4.
In concrete 5.4 the controller file would have been in the location as described in the how to.
In later concrete versions the text "controller" file can be found in root/concrete/core/models/attribute/types and the text controller file is named "text".
In previous concrete versions the controller file would have been named "controller" and would have resided in a folder named "text"
