dashboard completely blank?

I uninstalled V 5.5.1 and installed V 5.4.2.2 so I could use one of the themes I wanted.

Everything seemed to work fine, I can log in, edit, add pages etc but when I click on the dashboard, it's completely blank. The edit bar up top is there (with return to website, help, signout options) but nothing else.

Any ideas?

Slowly working my way through all the other posts with similar issues.

It's definitely not a javascript error - no JS in the header or footer.

The header and footer code looks to be correct.

So I unstalled 5.4.2.2 and reinstalled it and the issue is still there. I am stumped!

I have attached a pic of what I see if anyone has any ideas for me at all.

I see this error in the error_log fle in public_html

[09-Feb-2012 14:28:13] PHP Fatal error: Call to a member function getCollectionID() on a non-object in /home5/blabberm/public_html/concrete/blocks/autonav/controller.php on line 256

I have no clue where to begin... I'm about ready to throw my hands up in the air, lol.
