Dashboard only shows site activity
Permalink
scenario:
launched c5 site live this evening. Everything went fine. Site looks good and runs fast!
I bought the traffic stats add-on a few days ago. Worked great.
I reset traffic stats when i went live by uninstalling traffic stats and removing tonystats tables from mysql db via phpmyadmin. reinstalled traffic stats. Still everything ok.
I saw that I had 2 updates available:
google map it
traffic stats, from version 1.0 1.3 i
believe.
I clicked the button "download and Install". seemed ok.
I clicked on traffic and stats module on bottom left of dashboard and got a blank white screen. "scratched head"
went back to dashboard and repeated process for removing and reinstalling traffic stats. still same problem.
well, I left it be to worry about later...
went on to some server work. trying to resolve an issue with phpmyadmin.
I did chmod config.inc.php to 660...just to throw that out there.
OK now, I log into website (i have admins redirected to dashboard option) and I get a white screen with site activity and thats it, nothing else. website still looks fine, I can still edit pages and add pages, but dashboard is messed up.
I wasnt sure if this was something I did, or a bug, so im asking for help! I have attached a screenshot of what is suppose to be the dashboard.
sorry for such long post, just felt it pertinent to explain.

hmmm...interesting! I can see my full dashboard if I type in the url with sitemap at the end.
but if I click "Return to site", then click "Dashboard" it's the screwed dashboard again.
is there a workaround for this?

ok, update:
With the help of Mnkras, I was able to get into dashboard and remove traffic stats package. Once removed, when logging in, you are directed to full dashboard and everything is fine.
I did pay for the add-on, so I would like to see it working. I understand this update was released yesterday, so I just have to be patient, but even still, I want the older version back until update is fixed. But, unfortunately, I dl'd that package through dashboard, and I dont have a copy of the older version to reinstall...what a crapper!
