Delete Statistics

Is there a way to delete the records in the PageStatistics via the dashboard? I have about 75Mb in the table that is just wasting space.

Can this table just be deleted without causing problems?

What I meant to ask, can the data just be deleted via phpmyadmin without causing problems versus deleting the table.
