I'm an end user and I'm extremely frustrated that I can not seem to delete or otherwise hide unwanted categories that were inadvertently created for our events calendar. I had thought that I could work around this problem by just checking the filters I want to include in the drop down by checking only certain filters in the edit event list but, much to my chagrin, the categories that are not checked still show in the drop down. Surely there must be some way for an end user with admin privileges to be able to easily remove/edit a category without having to go into the back end programming
