Development Domain to Final Domain and Add-On Licenses
Permalink
I had an old website that needed to be redone and I chose Concrete5 for the "redesign" of the site. Additionally, I'm moving the site from Godaddy to another hosting provider.
The website is strengthsalliance.com. But I didn't want to take that site down while I was working on the new site. So the new site was using a "temporary" domain name strengthsalliance.celebrationhosting.net.
During the development of new site, I've made many Add-On purchases. Now that the new site is done, I've updated the DNS to point strengthsalliance.com to the new site.
But now I'm worried that all the Add-Ons were registered to strengthsalliance.celebrationhosting.net and nothttp://www.strengthsalliance.com.
Is there a way to transfer those Add-On licenses to the none-development domain?
I've already updated the BASE_URL so Concrete5 behaves correctly on the production URL, but there aren't any "Licenses" listed for it because they are all listed under strengthsalliance.celebrationhosting.net.
Thanks for you help,
Michael

Go here:http://www.concrete5.org/profile/projects/...
Click on the NAME of the project you want to take licenses from (not the URL).
Then you will see all the options for the licenses you have assigned to the project.
Click "release from project" button (it's red, can't miss it).
Make sure you have signed into concrete5 from your live concrete5 install, so concrete5.org can see it.
Then you are able to reassign those freed up licenses to your live site.
That's all there is to it!
Hope I helped! :-D
