Directory Website

Hi Everyone,
I want to build a directory website which will eventually have Categories of Services & then a list of Service providers under each. Has anyone built something like this with C5 & is it easily manageable as the site grows.
The site owners want to charge an annual fee for a listing & also sell advertising across the site. Is this possible using any existing or "in development" blocks?
I'd appreciate your thoughts on this.
Cheers,
Steve

It is possible to add external links to the sitemap, so in this way you could add a new link to the sitemap and it would automatically appear on the link list.
If you wanted to provide even more details, you may be able to add a description or page attributes to flesh out the listing. This is possible with regular pages, I haven't looked into doing this with external links. Otherwise you could always add listings with more detail by hand.
There is an Ad Server add-on that might help with advertisements. You can look into it here:

As for annual fees, I don't think that Concrete has any way of managing this right now. There is the eCommerce add-on for selling products, but I haven't seen anything that is designed for subscriptions. You would probably want to manage this using other software.
