Do Feature Requests Go With Bug Reports?
I'm sorry, I know this has been asked before. In fact, I myself have asked before, but I can't remember the answer, and it's not obvious anywhere on the website, so...
Where exactly do we submit feature requests?
It would be nice if there was a "Feature Tracker" item in the menus along with the "Bug Tracker" - even if it took you to the exact same place.

12345j,
Thanks for the reply, but I'm sorry, I don't understand. Are you saying that only beta testers are permitted to request features?
Surely, there's some mechanism for officially documenting and tracking feature requests.

we used to have a feature requests area. It quickly filled up with people asking for stuff that concrete5 already did, or ideas that were completely out of left field. It became a huge time suck and political nightmare to manange - so we killed it.
Generally if there's a good idea that needs to get added to the core it's going to get discussed a bit by the community. Just like wordpress, concrete5 is a meritocracy so bring it up in the beta area and if enough people chime in on its awesomeness chances are we'll make it happen. You can also submit a .patch there which is a great way to make it easy on us to incorporate stuff.

Ok, great. Thanks, Franz. I still say there should be something somewhere on the site explaining how to submit feature requests - even if it's just a page explaining what you've explained in your reply here with a link to the beta sign-up page.
